You can't just run from a marriage, job, responsibilities that were entrusted to you, and you can't have it your way each time you perceive a benefit in changing the status quo (which is precisely why Germany does not just run away, it recognizes its responsibility and plays its part in Europe, mostly writing cheques to other nations, unfortunately). Of course you can hold your damn referendum any time you like and the rest of the world respects that. But until then stop bitching about a few asylum seekers that crossed the channel.
