American conservatives generally want border security, deportations of illegals, fiscal sanity, debt reduction, returned manufacturing sector, reduction in taxes, few hand outs, and the elimination of Isis. Basically, trump. American conservatives have wanted most of that but were repeatedly betrayed by Gw bush and bush senior. Even Reagan betrayed conservatives on border security and amnesty.

As far as immigration..... immigration built America. Immigration made america the #1 global superpower.

Back then, it was sink or swim. No handouts. You come to America? You work your fucking ass off and contribute or you starve to death. There was no social safety net. So the immigrants that came and built America had lots to offer and weren't afraid to work 12-14-16 hour days. Day after day. That's why they came.

Most of today's immigrants come for a handout. They want the free healthcare, welfare, housing, food stamps, education vouchers. It's a free lunch. And immigrants all over the world happily abuse the Christian generosity of Americans. Immigration is essential when done RIGHT. Selective immigration. Only allow the best, brightest, richest and most educated. Everyone else, denied entry.

People stalking and getting people fired, etc : that's why I am all for Law Courts. Because it is too easy to misinterpret thing, misread things. Just out of curiosity, does the person who got fired has any clue about why calling an American "nigger" is sensitive among Americans? In one country, "nigger" is the normal word used ( as nigger means dark skin) - but there, they are not very keen , to use an euphemism, on pale skin. Again: the benefits of worldwide travelling like a local.

My friend, we can find a million perspectives to view any one particular thing. Lots to talk about. But to what end?

Yes, history has many perspectives and narratives. Only when taken together in their totality does one have what approaches to be, a 'complete' picture.

American foreign policy has been vexed. Judge America relative to other historical global super powers - Rome, the Greeks, Ottomans, Egypt, Babylon etc. Relatively speaking, America is overwhelming benevolent and generous, peppered with fuck ups and indiscretions. Some necessary, some not.

The Middle East perplexed me for a long time. I faulted America heavily for it's role in propping up Mubarak, overthrowing the Shah, propping house of Saud, Saddam etc. At the end of the day, we're fucked with Islam. It's a catch 22. Damned if you do. Damned if you don't. American support for Middle Eastern secular dictators was a pragamatic approach to dealing with radical Islam. Secular dictators in the middle east exterminated these jackasses so we didn't have to. Everything changed with Bush Snr and Iraq part 1. That kicked off the whole nation building exercise that ended in tears.

Look, this is how it is in the middle east. We either support secular dictators who take out radical Islamists who seek a Caliphate, and then, a declaration of war against the Christian West. OR, we take out those secular dictators, allow the Arabs political self-determination > after which they establish an Islamic Caliphate and declare war on the West. It doesn't matter which way we slice or dice it. Islam is a problem because it demands the establishment of religious rule and the destruction of Christians (any non Muslim, technically). ISLAM is the problem, in its current form. It hasn't been 'reformed' (aka watered down). This is why prominent notables call for a reformation of Islam. Even guys like Bill Maher. Current day Islam is like what Judaism was 4000 years ago.....fuck your neighbor? death. chop wood on the sabbath? death. steal an egg from the market? death. scoop down to pick up some dog shit with the wrong hand? death. etc etc. It's barbaric. Modern day Islam promotes Barbarism. That's why we see barbarism all over the middle easy. It's in their holy book.....
