I am not projecting my Florida experience. I specifically said "anecdotal" several times. Similarly, you can't call out anything other than anecdotal info by claiming people you "know".

It seems as though you are looking at all of this from a very specific perspective. If I remember correctly, you are a programmer. Try to put yourself in someone's shoes that doesn't have a job, is having a hard time getting unemployment, is out of money, can't pay rent, can barely feed their family of 4, their car will be repoed within a few months, their credit is being destroyed, what would you be saying then?

What if you were one of the 50% of small business owners in LA and you were going to go BK with three kids in college, a mortgage, credit card debt, cars payments, and you are out of money, what would you be saying then? Would you be saying and advocating to not reopen businesses until the employees and patrons can go to to the business without getting sick?

Do you think that there is one restaurant in LA that can survive implementing social distancing with respect to their tables? No way. They are all BK. Every one of them. Well, the only way that doesn't happen is if their rent is substantially decreased.

So let me ask why are business owners with three kids in college, a mortgage, credit card debt, & cars payments who are on the hairy edge of bankruptcy in Georgia are refusing to reopen businesses until the employees and patrons can go to to the business without getting sick ---- while business owners in North Carolina of the exact same type of businesses (franchises, etc.) are moving forward with re-opening on Friday with complete enthusiasm. The restrictions in North Carolina for Phase 2 in restaurants, etc. are stricter than in Georgia.

The Kemp administration in Georgia moved forward with "re-opening" without support of the business community, with opposition from the chamber of commerce, scathing comments from the President, outrage from the mayors of most cities & towns, and complete distrust from the population of the state. Now a month later, Kemp is wondering where is his economic rebound?
