Quote from ktmexc20:
I haven't been able to take my eyes of "Fat Boy" (Tony) since he qualified for the front row on his inaugural rookie race at Daytona. A little temperament and emotion only shows his intensity for winning. I'm glad he was able to recognize that he was being a jerk there for a while. Hopefully, what we saw last week won't be an indication of what's upcoming this season. Sometimes he can be his own competitor... losing races or positions because of that "blind" intensity.
I don't mind his outspoken nature, and I prefer high levels of emotion in both victory and defeat to the robotic responses of some of these competitors. However, crying foul over aggressive driving in The Bud Pole Shootout only to practice the same behavior in the Daytona 500, placed Tony squarely on my 'crybaby' list.
The attempted wrecking of Kenseth at 180 mph didn't sit well with me. Who's next? Mark Martin? Perhaps, karma jumped up and bit Tony squarely in the ass. However, I must admit, a smile did appear on my face when I noticed smoke blowing from underneath 'Smoke's' racecar. - Spydertrader
