What's the deal there, Spyder? Does Joe put different carbs in the motors he sells or what? Why would he put an illegal one in there?

Joe's team provides all the engines for HOF Racing. Different carbs for Talladega and Daytona (restrictor plates) is a common occurrence. However, Joe's team mistakenly put the wrong (read unapproved for this track) carb on this particular engine. A whole number of individuals should have caught the error, but did not. Clearly accidental, NASCAR is treating the situation as if it were intentional. A load of crap if you ask me. As a result, HOF Racing receives a royal smack down from NASCAR Officials, but Knaus and the #48 Team (who intentionally altered approved parts to obtain an advantage) don't.
