Genesis is a crypto lender. They lent out BTC's through the arb-complex-Rube-Goldberg-system to borrowers like 3AC, FTX/Alameda
Imho, those physical BTC's (yea, that's a term, vs paper BTC's = iou btc's) have already been sold off during the liquidation events involving 3AC, Luna, Celsius, Voyager a few months ago
