If it's irrelevant for the masses, how can one say capitalism is successful?

masses do not know political economics, they have no clue what is socialism or capitalism
their are being fed with ideas...
and ideas that find a good ground for growth in the mind of masses are those that fall on their inner animalistic sense of what is right and what is wrong....
so successful (or not) is not the terms they using...

sure and probably most all of those arguments were true ..
there is no capitalism anywhere in the world without socialism crippling it more and more
only now socialists do not demand contriol over means of production, they are satisfied with the control of the results of the production throu the intrusive government rules, taxation , etc
and capitalists in their will to survive will submit to that more and more... especially if it will guarantee them monopoly throu government intervention in free market competition...

To get back to the OP, I suggest a much less drastic alternative. How about we deport the radicalized immigrants who are not citizens? That would solve probably 90% of the problem.
No doubt the usual suspects on the left would go nuts, but I say if you come here as an immigrant, particularly as a political refugee which many of them claim to be, we have the right to insist that you avoid certain behavior, even if it is Constitutionally protected for citizens. Dabbling in radical islam should be at the top of the list, but of course Obama would never go for that.
