General Election 2020

“Democrats are on track to win big in Arizona next month — from the presidential election to the state House. And Republicans fear it won’t just be a one-time event but the start of long-term Democratic dominance in the state,” Politico reports.

“It’s a shift that’s been coming since before President Donald Trump’s election but has only been further accelerated over the past four years by his divisive presidency and the Arizona GOP’s evolution from the party of John McCain to that of Trump.”

“Now, Republicans are reckoning with signs that the party has taken on a direction that won’t play well in Arizona in 2020 — or ever. With that, Democrats could cement control of state politics, as they have in other suburban-heavy states, like Colorado and Virginia.”

Amy Walter says that Donald Trump’s “thread the needle” re-election strategy required four main elements:

  1. A united, enthusiastic and engaged Republican base;
  2. A deeply flawed opponent;
  3. Decent support among independent voters (Even as Trump ran up the score among his base in 2016, he also carried independent voters by 2-points.);
  4. Third-party candidates siphoning off enough votes to allow Trump to win key states with a plurality as he did in 2016.
“Oh, and of course, it would also help to have a good economy, and not have a majority of Americans think that you have mismanaged a major health crisis.”

“Right now, only #1 is there for him. Even that rock-solid support from his base is looking shaky in the wake of his disastrous debate performance and COVID diagnosis.”

If Trump loses the senior vote, he loses by a landslide. Look at how many states he won in 2016 by a narrow margin.

It's inevitable; the women's vote will be a huge change this election. Most woman don't grandstand in the media and online so their impact will be a surprise to many men.

He's lost. If Biden were a younger man, it would be the biggest landslide in history.

This could be even a worst repeat for the extreme liberal Democrats of their resounding defeat on November 8, 2016. I am assuming our side is able to neutralize the attempts at massive election fraud by the Democrats. So far, the mail in ballots returned is close to even with maybe, 1-2% in Joe Biden's favor. When November 3, 2020 rolls, those voting in precincts would be mostly, Trump voters. Add to that the increasing numbers of Walkaway movement Democrats now voting for Donald Trump, Blexit movement blacks all now voting also, for Donald Trump. Joe Biden held a rally the other day and nobody even showed up. Their excuse is they kept it hush hush? Ha ha ha! Hilarious.

‘Simpsons’ Lists 50 Reasons Why Re-Electing Trump Is Terrifying in Exclusive ‘Treehouse of Horror’ Clip

There’s nothing scarier than the 2020 election, which makes it the perfect opener for this year’s edition of “The Simpsons” Halloween-themed “Treehouse of Horror.”

Variety has an exclusive first look at the 31st installment, which opens on Election Day 2020. Marge calls Homer to remind him to vote, and he gets to the polling station just in time — where he seems decided in just about every position (including Amazon Alexa for Governor) except for the presidential race.

That’s when a flummoxed Lisa can’t believe that, after everything that has happened these past four years, her father is still undecided. (To be fair, when asked to remember what’s happened since 2016, Homer can only picture one headline: “Faye Dunaway gives Oscar to wrong movie and is never seen again.”)
