GBA's "2021 Stock Phantasma"

It's a good company, but I just think it's better to be cautious right now.
It's about 3% below an all-time high, I really wanted to see it start making a move in that direction with the earnings report on Wednesday, albeit they only announced that a few days ago. The hurricane and the floods should have moved it too because the insurance companies are going to be busy.

$130 would be a bargain, but watching other companies this earnings season that don't break their highs when they were close, they have been seeing about a 6% drop. That would peg it near $137, which was a recent low. The company is priced to perfection. Any hint of the business slowing will be met with some aggressive selling. That and the overall uncertainty of the broader markets.... I think it's best to be cautious for now.

Also, I saw some decent put buying yesterday too, at the ask. Not real big, but big enough.
Thanks for a good explanation of your thoughts. Good to see how you factor all those things to reach an definite conclusion.

I'am getting the feeling the market will never have a correction anymore. That has been the best 'indicator' for a correction to come though. But we'll see offcourse :)

CPNG comes in reach of your buy orders. EVLV was also playing with its 7.00 range.

I think I may have spoke too soon on Copart. When I said it should have got a bump from the hurricane and all the floods up north.... I gave the Wall Street Ivy League boys too much credit. They were just a little slow to figure that out. These analysts are clueless.

I made a call and got the word first hand... if the water gets up to the motor... be it freshwater or saltwater.... it's a complete total.

Copart, as I said before, is a tech company with real-estate. The best of BOTH worlds. Look at their gross margins. Tech.
They make a percentage off of every car they broker. Hurricanes and floods totaling out $50K+ vehicles..... it all drops to their bottom line.

Granted these things are one off events, but they do seem to just keep coming. Global warming? Who knows... but Copart's incremental cost of processing a $1700 beater for Geico is the exact same as processing an $80,0000 Mercedes. Difference is, about $14,000 in pure revenue.

I had no idea that Uranium even traded like other commodities!
So can I take physical delivery in NY or Chicago?

"Yeah I'm here to pick up my 50 pounds of high grade Canadian Uranium... just have your guy dump it in the back of the truck. And tell him to be more careful this time, last time he scratched up my bed-liner".

Wtf!!!!?
:D

Yeah, low-grade Uranium futures have been around for quite a while, but the volume is nil on the CME. And of course, it is financially settled. No nukes for you.

Oh and PS there master... who was it that flagged our perennial dog FINALLY on the move this week at $29?

QURE closed today at $31.25, up 6% and I doubt this time its going to do much giving back. But we'll see on that one.

All this.... and I never once look at SA or Motley Fool or any other source for ideas.

Respectfully yours...
-the master savant.

EDIT.....

Anybody notice QURE after hours?
(Thanks VTechno!!!!)

UNIQURE N.V. (NASD:QURE) will replace United Insurance Holdings Corp. (NASD:UIHC) in the S&P SmallCap 600.

..... Those options never lie.

QURE----> $34.01
