The friggin thing is a chart based yoyo.
You hated it two months ago. What did all that "research" uncover that was new?
Great post.Could take a conservative approach with part of your position to lock in some profit.
Biotechs can be pretty crazy.
Buy the Jan2022 6/12 Call spread for .90 ($90) each.
Stock price is 7.15. You're buying it at 6.90 with the spread.
Risking $90 to make $510.
If price rises towards 12 you could roll the spread higher to lock more profit & raise the high limit.
Unfortunately they currently have 12 as the highest strike price.

My position in ATOS is now representing a large position of my stock trading account and my account reflects it with large swings based on its performance. It might be time to take some profit. I really believe in the company and think the guy behind it, Dr. Quay, is on his way to making an impact on breast cancer.
When is the right time to get out of these biotech stocks? This can easily go up to $12-15 overnight or within a couple of days but it can also go up to $40+ by end of year.
I was gonna say take a little off the table too, the "options option" never crossed my mind, but whether you do it on this trade or not, you really should try to figure out the mechanics behind his suggestion. It's really not that hard, and I bet you can find the time somehow.

It amazes me at how much time people waste, and I'm not casting any stones, I'm as guilty as anyone on that front. But the ultra-successful don't waste time. Its a truth.
So in that spirit, aside from learning various hedging strategies using options, dig into the FDA stuff.
Do your absolute best to understand their pipeline, the trials, and all the forthcoming dates and what they entail. Its all out there. But it does take work.
