Stoney don't get mad, but that portfolio looks horrible for a "buy and hold" investor.
Can you put your cost basis on each (ballpark) and I'll go thru them.
The problem with this thread on your end is you're all over the map. No one can keep track. I mean it's fine if they're your holdings, but what what is the point of this thread? Because if it's for the readers to make money, which it should be, none of these stocks right now are screaming buys.
Some are safer than others. UPST and WOLF are pure plays on tech. EVLV is a speculative roll of the dice at this point. 3 or 4 shoe stocks is too many, and food stocks are, like I said, slow movers so in a buy and hold portfolio, you go with the best one that pays a consistent dividend.
ACC is good. I have not looked at DOUG really. SIX is good. PLAY is overpriced, and for that sector if you want to pay a premium, go for growth. Sell PLAY and dollar cost average over a 12 month period into BROS.
I have only given a few stocks in this thread as buy and holds.
LULU, CAT, RH, ULTA, NKE, AQUA, ABB, SIX, ZI, SYK, ABT, SJM
I did sell SJM, I re-entered Abbott at $114. It's a long time favorite of mine.
All solid, with RH being the most speculative. I have KMI too in the energy sector, but it's a dog. Had it since over $20 but added more around $13 back when covid started. I realize I have left out a financial and that's because I own another dog. WFC. For the sake of this thread, I would not include it. If I had to pick one... well, I'd have to look.
All that said, if what you posted above is supposed to be a model portfolio for the readers here, if we really have any other than those who just stop by to hear our rants for entertainment sake, ... it sucks.
But add prices, and I promise I won't slam you when they drop. At least on the ones above. It makes things a lot easier and it's a good service for the readers that don't have the time or inclination to sift thru 20 pages per day.
Edit: and who cares about the NFL draft? Unless we want to start a sub-thread with weekly bets. I'd be down for that, albeit I'd have to learn the nfl which I have never followed.
