Well, if you think the Lizard King is predicting a pullback, then wait.
But if you like it for the long haul, buy 1/2 today.

Lizard King was talking so quick. He says deal gets done next Tues or Wed after this one.?
I think that's what he said. He's always so zen. I think he means we panic next week and force deal the following Tues.<----------

I was wrong about this and you didn't correct me. I thought it was an oil and gas play. It's that alt-energy stuff. I'll have to look at their books Stoney. At first glance it looks pricey. EPS yoy down 35%.
Carrying $500M in debt.

I do like Coterra though
CTRA
Natural gas Stoney. One of the lowest cost producers.

Buyback in place.
8% dividend
Fat fat fat with cash.
PE of 4

They are right there in the Permian and those LNG processing facilities are all being built on the Gulf. Long term play Stoney. IRA stuff. 5 years.

$25.63 today.

US to See Dramatic Growth in LNG Export Capacity

January 24, 2023

The US is on course to more than double its gas liquefaction capacity over the next five years. With three projects slated for final investment decision this year, the country’s annual LNG export capacity is expected to reach 169 million metric tons by 2027, placing it far ahead of the world’s second-largest exporter, Qatar.

“The US is in the lead because of its flexible contract terms and the competitive landscape of project developers,” said Michael Yip, BloombergNEF’s global LNG specialist. “Its aggressive but transparent pricing and reliability as an LNG supplier has made it easy for these new projects to secure contracts.”

Contracts with US projects made up 89% of deals in 2022. Once roughly 75-80% of an LNG project’s capacity is contracted, funding gets unlocked, and construction can begin.

BNEF expects five projects to reach final investment decision this year. Three are in the US – Venture Global’s Plaquemines LNG (Phase 2), Sempra’s Port Arthur LNG (Phase 1) and NextDecade’s Rio Grande LNG (Phase 1) – while the other two are Qatar Energy’s North Field South Expansion and Pacific Energy’s Woodfibre LNG in Canada.

“The US will become more of a global gas player,” said Enrique Gonzalez, BNEF’s lead analyst for US gas. “Unlike in the past, prices in its domestic gas market will be more connected with the rest of the world.”

Three LNG projects reached final investment decision last year, totaling 25.3 million tons of capacity. The five projects in line this year add up to 54.5 million tons.

Other potential ‘wildcards’ in the queue for approval in 2023 are Energy Transfer’s Lake Charles LNG, Venture Global’s Calcasieu Pass 2 LNG, New Fortress Energy’s ‘Fast LNG’ concept in the US, and TotalEnergies’ Papua LNG.

Stoney, it's $314 and just hit an all time high yesterday after moving 38% in 2 months.

It's not hard to call for a pullback.

I swear sometimes I think you post just so you can come back to them later.
I bet you don't have the nerve to short it though.
I wouldn't.

Van I see you know Coterra is a lot of nat gas. That has turned up just recently. I think. Gas futures had a big leg up recently. CTRA's capital budget is north of 2.2billion!

But they have a ton of cash flow $1.6 B what is the Div?
