There is blood in the streets right now.
Do you know how many option writers were selling puts on the financials because they assumed higher rates were good for the banks? Which they are, but as these things go, pennies in front of the steam-roller. And it looks like that proverbial steam-roller is being driven by the proverbial black swan.
Even though the indexes are barely down, there are people out there that are literally losing10's of millions on these banks as I type. Most of the regionals, which everyone assumed were the safest of all, granny stocks if you will, are below their price they were one or two months into the pandemic.
Their are some sick HF managers out there right now. Really sick.
