Hey Stoney!!!

So, HD is a great long position if such an animal can exist in a market hellbent on another 15% drop. The fact that it's on the Dow, in this particular case, is a big plus. A rare statement out of moi.

Amgen, JNJ, Merck, UNH, have had their runs. MCD & KO are over-rated.

CAT.... my #1 rebuild Ukraine stock....

your DIS.... whatever... AXP.... doubtful, IBM and MSFT... the next tech shoes to drop, Verizon... pfff... kick it off the Dow... GS and JPM..... ahhhh... we'll see. WBA, kick it out when you kick out Verizon, NKE has hope, Boeing at $129 has to go lower as $129 is way too obvious of a good price...

V might be ok, CRM and Apple are loved by all...

So all this leaves only one stock to hold the Dow up in a decline (as it's a price weighted index and not a market-cap weighted index like the Naz or S&P)... and to also lead the way on the bounce... HD.
It closed at $183 Stoney. Already up $2 on the VZ upgrade. :wtf: :strong:

edit:
oops, i had to delete and re-write. I misspelled MCD
:banghead:

Mailbag....
"Van... do you have a crystal ball?!!!!"
V is up
HD is up
MSFT down
Apple down
CRM... toilet
"How do you do it?"
:D

Don't forget what I told you... when it was $275.
MCD $268

June 2023 lol.

Etrade options only go to the future month unless there's some trick I don't know.

These must be futures?
You really are... "not that bright" are you?
Maybe a Generac isn't the right choice for you.
You have to plug it in.
Who starts your cars for you?
:banghead:

You’re too busy blogging instead of trading :)

I do not blog, and I don't trade stocks. I simply hold them long-term and sell later. But I got a feeling about those two, because through osmosis I get the sense that ags and construction equipment will see the boom times next year when the Infrastructure bill gets rolling, and farmers recover from what will be a harsh winter.

Harassing you after reading that nasty reply about LS broker. That’s why I avoid answering someone with two posts.

And hey, @vanzandt , yer not gonna' like this one...

I had a small position in NKE, like really small, 10 shares or so? Wanted to harvest a little cash and chose to sell that one because it was up 20% or so from the original cost basis on Friday when I sold it. I knew I would catch the dividend since I sold after the ex-div date. And of course they went up 13ish percent after the earnings yesterday.

Ahh well. Since the position was so small, it's not that big of a deal, but it keeps me grounded in the thought of, "Well, if the stock went DOWN big after earnings, I would be justified."

I swear man, I should have used all that money of futures craziness in stocks instead. I think it would have been more satisfying.
