What strike? There is nothing more important than Powell today.... The rail strike is already settled... they are getting 20% increases and maybe not paid sick days boo hoo...

If they play hardball the courts will step in and the Pres will assume Emerg powers on them.

And the President can't force anyone back to work.
Congress may vote today.
If 4 unions hold out, the others won't cross the picket lines.
Commerce comes to a screeching halt.

The Story of SIG-

On Monday I was working hard for you all for free. It was mid afternoon and I was still grinding and I heard about online sales. The reporter said online sales were tracking at he high end of purchase price over $100 per purchase and that one cat doing well was jewelry up 200% from the year before.

So I immediately began tagging jewelry names- TIF I couldn't find it? Bought? I looked for Zales and had trouble there as well I forget why.. I then turned to SIG. I did a bunch of Quick Chart work and added it. I bought 100 right then.@ $62.97

Although I posted frantically here to tell you all because that's what I do and of course I told myself I was so great it wasn't until near the last hour of the day that I was convinced enough of my chart work that I made a larger buy with the HF That price was $62.46.

A third lot was bought for Big Pete that same day at $62.28.

U.S. House to vote to block rail strike despite labor objections


WASHINGTON/LOS ANGELES, Nov 29 (Reuters) - The U.S. House of Representatives was set to vote Wednesday to block a rail strike that could potentially happen as early as Dec. 9, after President Joe Biden warned of dire economic consequences and massive job losses.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said lawmakers will vote Wednesday to impose a tentative contract deal struck in September on a dozen unions representing 115,000 workers.

Pelosi said the House would vote separately on Wednesday on a proposal to give seven days of paid sick leave to railroad employees.
