Aerojet Rocketdyne(AJRD) is soliciting offers from potential acquirers, Reuters reported Tuesday, citing unnamed sources.

The rocket maker, which has a market value of $3.6 billion, is preparing an auction process and asked for the offers earlier this month, the report said.

Reuters said an Aerojet spokesperson declined to comment.

Aerojet shares rose by nearly 6% in early trading on Tuesday.
