SkyBridge Capital founder Anthony Scaramucci said Tuesday that the recent rebound in stocks has come as signals from the bond market suggest the Federal Reserve is reaching the "finishing point" of its interest rate hikes.

"The bond market is sensing that we're getting to the end of the Fed rate hikes and I think that's why you're seeing a liftoff in these markets," the former Trump administration staffer told CNBC.

Scaramucci argued that recent activity in the TIPS market, which tracks the price of inflation-protected Treasury instruments, points to a declining expectation among investors for long-term inflation. He argued that the implied market expectation for long-term inflation has trended back down towards the Fed's 2% target.

The SkyBridge founder added that policymakers wouldn't want the figure to drop aggressively below 2%, as that might open the door to a potential "deflationary crisis," which he characterized as "one of the worst things that could happen."<-- This is what Cathie Wood has been saying.

Looking to future Fed policy, Scaramucci predicted that the central bank would probably raise interest rates "one more time." He added that the stock market would likely rise following another rate hike of 75 basis points because "that's really the finishing point."

ABB - It may of bottomed out.- I like their robots.
Unfortunately they sold off their fast charging biz.
but.. ABB is now composed of 21 divisions spread across its 4 operating segments: Electrification (“EL”), Process Automation (“PA”), Motion, and Robotics and Discrete Automation (“RA”).

On the 3rd of this month--

ABB (NYSE:ABB) shareholders are set to receive shares in a new company called Accelleron, which specializes in turbo-chargers. This will be a 100% spin-off transaction in the form of dividend in kind, with a 1:20 split, i.e. ABB shareholders will receive one Accelleron sharefor every 20 ABB shares held. This is subject to ABB shareholder approval at EGM and market conditions, but preparations for the spin-off are well advanced. The EGM is scheduled to take place on September 7th, with prospectus publication expected around September 23rd, and the planned spin-off and first trading day of Accelleron on the SIX exchange expected to happen on October 3rd.

ABB ABB Ltd- Worth an IRA look? and do we still get shares in Accelleron if we buy on the 4th?

When Van says silly things we all just say oh that's Van. So I suppose I have myself to blame if I ever listened to Van's advice and lost a bundle. That's what happens when you call a rally on Sept 15th... and the market instead nose dives it's called being entirely wrong just like the last the time before at S&P 4,300 you just cant erase these things and no I'm not going to blast Van with a bunch of his own foolish remarks.. that's not my stye. I like to uplift Van....

Overnight however... someone is going to have to step up and say Sorry--

When Van says stupid things about I should not be worried about my positions it's because van travels so light. Maybe there's an IRA but there's no real positioning in the market- when I move million dollars + So there's no comparison. You have to be in it to understand it.

I should think for myself but at GBA I try to make it a collaborative process the best I can...

Like Van's CAT<-----:fistbump:

But to get one good one you may have to suffer a lot as I did.

The latest AAII Sentiment Survey showed bears, or those seeing stocks lower in six months, topping 60% for the second week in a row. "This poll has been around since 1987 and this is the first time it has ever happened," Carson Group's Ryan Detrick tweeted. "Not during the crash of '87, tech bubble, financial crisis, or 100 year pandemic. Contrarian?"

No, you just have to stick to your convictions like I do.
It's simple.
I know how markets work Stoney.
Its called experience.

True or false? Have I not been saying for months now this would be one of the few Octobers that break the mold?
You know the answer. It's true.

And btw... you too were calling for a rally.... ON SEPTEMBER 15th. And it had nothing to do with me so you can put a lid on that bs too.

Here... you even said it yourself:
