Well Stoney....
I think I've given out three stocks this week.

when did the S&P 500 hit its bottom in the last 40 days?
Gee, I think it was 25 minutes into the session on 9/16... ie 9:55 est.
Now... everything we have seen in the last two weeks... I baked into that prediction a month prior.
CPI. PPI, BOE, BOJ, and most importantly, market psychology. Tomorrow is the last card to fall.
I could be wrong.
This market could completely tank, but I think Powell will deliver.
.75 basis points, but the markets will pivot on his tone. Of course I wrote that 2 weeks ago too.
I checked out today's 30 year fixed rate mortgage earlier today. 6.33%
Now historically that's not that bad, but as of late... its a bitch.

THE HOUSING MARKET WILL COOL OFF BIG-TIME IN THE NEXT 6 MONTHS.
I would not want to be a realtor.
Point is however... Powell I'm sure saw this. (.23 basis points in one day!.. national average)
That's a big move in mortgage rates.
What Powell will deliver tomorrow is, and again, I said this two weeks ago, ".75 but we remain data dependent."
When the Q&A comes, he will be decidedly side-stepping the inevitable question regarding a full 1% hike in the future.
The markets will waffle.... my 9/16 low will probably be taken out.... and then... we go up.

Vowing to use all means necessary to defend Russia in its invasion of Ukraine, President Vladimir Putin announced a “partial mobilization” and pledged to annex the territories his forces have already occupied, raising the stakes in the seven-month-old conflict.
Calling the moves “urgent, necessary steps to defend the sovereignty, security and territorial integrity of Russia,” Putin said in a televised national address Wednesday that Russia is fighting the full might of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. The US and its allies, he said, are seeking to “destroy” Russia.
“We will definitely use all means available” to defend Russian territory,” Putin said. “That’s not a bluff.”
The partial mobilization will mean that reservists will be drafted into military service, Putin said, starting immediately.
The Kremlin is set to stage hastily-organized referendums on absorbing four occupied regions in eastern and southern Ukraine as soon as this weekend in its latest escalation of the invasion of the neighboring country. Russian officials have said they will move quickly to annex the territories after the vote, making the lands part of the country.

GNRC will sell off some more today if the markets (the tide) decide that the combination of Putin and Powell is just too much to handle in one day, but I think GNRC is near a bottom.
It's down almost 25% since 9/12... the dreaded 50/100 death cross. That might have triggered the sell off.
Generac likes to bounce.
Let the broader markets do their thing, they'll take GNRC down too, but it is definitely at a level that it's worth buying a little for the long haul.

AKIA was last week not this week and you never gave a reason for buy I asked you if it was about the old offer on the table. You shrank away. So useless.
RILY I have owned for ages I'm not excited. I'm glad it's up a blip.
Xray I said I liked the concept but Really are you going to put real money there?
I don't want to be rude but this thread has a history of home runs and making money and so unless you are wiling to part with yours... better to just be quiet while I do the heavy lifting.
