With the exception of Tesla auto makers are out of favor with investors. Their shares carry some of the stock market’s lowest price/earnings multiples. Concerns include an expensive transition to electric vehicles over the next decade, and the sustainability of currently high profitability with a potential recession looming in late 2022 or 2023.

Volkswagen(ticker: VOW3.Germany), the world’s biggest auto maker in annual sales, at $275 billion, is a prime example. Its U.S.-listed preferred shares of Volkswagen(VWAPY)—effectively nonvoting common shares—are down 25% this year to $15, and trade for just four times projected 2022 earnings of $3.50 per share. The shares yield 5% based on VW’s annual dividend, paid earlier this year.

FINTECH--- Heavily Shorted space---

Folks I have to move some names from the last thread into this one like FLYWIRE (FLYW)
you want to be in this name as AFRM the lead dog stabilizes the whole sector.

Affirm CEO: Our underlying business is performing very well 18:23 AFRM In an interview on CNBC's Mad Money Max Levchin said the consumer is alive and well. "They are shopping, buying, and paying their loans quite well," he added. "We are in fact as good as we say we are." Customers like Affirm's honesty with credit and that is why they come back, he noted. Changing rates have not had any impact on the company's costs. "Our cost of capital is just fine," he said.

Well of course these will bounce if tech does.

Did the whales act on my numerous posts regarding this?
Perhaps front running the "front running" by a day or two?
I've been calling out this date for over a month now.
The whales know who gets it right every time, and I see that even you have come onboard.
I still think we'll have one more flush, but maybe not.

No you're just off. Go back and read my market summery. It explained where we are at. Then go back further and read my trading ranges -you are smack in the middle. If you like go and see where we made an upwards call on the S&P and made 70 points but the stocks reversed and you said I had the market direction wrong...

Now you wake up and see I was right all along, but you can't take away those nasty things you said.

Go back to sleep.
