LAND

Ironically, it's $24 too, just like ENVX.
Now ENVX is riding the momo of the children over at WSB's so it can go to the moon on air... but for Granny's portfolio... LAND is not a flash in the pan.

Quality safe stock that has been waaaay oversold.
I'm buying it, but as always, I'll wait for a day when the indexes are all down 2%.
It's my new favorite granny stock.

Energy plays still climbing nothing huge just nice steady moves. Sold rest of my CR at $6.90 Cdn, rebought full position in CPG at $10.34 Cdn hoping for a break out and NVA at avg 11.53. ATH, BTE, PIPE looking good still. Reduced overweight in GXE and BTE.

Why Sep 15th? There is some data there, yes, but the fireworks are on 9/21, no?
They are. But I gave it a little wiggle room for front-running by the whales.

Re Snow: covered at a wash.
I see the futures are green.
Imagine that.

IDEA: SHORT SALESFORCE--

UBS sees 'downtick' in partner tone ahead of Salesforce earnings 09:11 CRM UBS analyst Karl Keirstead keeps his Neutral rating and $190 price target on Salesforce ahead of its Q2 results on August 24th. While there is still plenty to like about the stock set-up, his latest round of checks with the company's partners felt incrementally worse than 3 months ago, the analyst tells investors in a research note. Keirstead added that it doesn't sound like Q2 was too challenged, but every partner flagged a weakening demand backdrop, longer sales cycles and deal down-sizing, suggesting that the macro impact on IT spending is rolling through every software sector.

THEY MAY MAKE THEIR NUMBER BUT I DON'T SEE HOW THEY GUIDE WELL

CRM-$190

Update-
Salesforce price target lowered to $180 from $190 at UBS 07:17 CRM UBS analyst Karl Keirstead lowered the firm's price target on Salesforce to $180 from $190 and keeps a Neutral rating on the shares. Investors were prepared for Salesforce to admit a tougher demand backdrop, but the magnitude of the second-half guidance cut was even greater than expected, the analyst tells investors in a research note. Keirstead adds that the guide-down offsets the upside from the $10B share repurchase and the potential that Salesforce's September 21st Investor Day is a "margin show".

Alright a few things: One talking on a different thread -- why don't you just shout in the dark.

I guess that's WHY YOU RE POSTED IT HERE BUT REALLY WHAT BORING CRAP. Some dolt wants to buy farmland. I actually farm! Ate my own tomato yesterday.

I am already looking at a land/housing play Pure Cycle that guarantees water! Jesus....
Let me look into the div. ZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

--Salesforce price target lowered to $179 from $189 at Citi

--Nuscale Power initiated with an Equal Weight at Wells Fargo 06:21 SMR Wells Fargo analyst Neil Kalton initiated coverage of Nuscale Power with an Equal Weight rating and $17 price target. NuScale's small modular reactor technology appears to be several years ahead of the competition, the analyst notes. As such, the company appears well-positioned to capitalize on the powerful and parallel global trends toward decarbonization and electrification, Kalton argues. However, he believes that the current share price adequately reflects the risk/reward considering NuScale's still unproven ability to commercialize the VOYGR technology, competitive threats, and his lingering uncertainty as to whether nuclear can truly gain traction.

--Teladoc, Amwell rise after Amazon says will shut down Amazon Care 06:11 AMZN, TDOC, AMWL Amazon (AMZN) told employees in an email on Wednesday that it is shutting down Amazon Care, which offers virtual visits nationwide and was planning to have in-person primary and urgent health care services in 20 cities this year, according to The New York Times' Karen Weise. "Although our enrolled members have loved many aspects of Amazon Care, it is not a complete enough offering for the large enterprise customers we have been targeting, and wasn't going to work long-term," Neil Lindsay, the senior vice president of Amazon Health Services, is quoted as having said in an email to employees that was shared with The New York Times. Shares of Teladoc Health (TDOC) are up $1.53, or 5%, to $35.19 in pre-market trading following the news while shares of Amwell (AMWL) are up roughly 5% to $4.63 as well.

GBA BATTERY DAY-!

STOCK OF THE DAY- FREYR

Freyr Battery jumps 6.6% to $11.27 following an upgrade from Goldman Sachs 17:00 FREY

Freyr Battery upgraded to Buy from Neutral at Goldman Sachs 16:59 FREY Goldman Sachs analyst Philipp Konig upgraded Freyr Battery to Buy from Neutral with a price target of $19, up from $11. The company should be a strong beneficiary from the recently enacted Inflation Reduction Act, the analyst tells investors in a research note. Freyr Battery aims to build a 35GWh gigafactory in partnership with Koch Strategic Platforms and plans to start production in 2025, Konig adds, stating that the IRA provisions would lead to potential capex reduction for the gigafactory by greater than 60%.
