Evolv reports Q2 EPS (18c), consensus (13c) 16:08 EVLV Reports Q2 revenue $9.1M, consensus $6.54M. "We are pleased to be reporting strong second quarter results highlighted by the addition of over 50 new customers, continued expansion in our key vertical and geographic markets and important traction with our key channel partners," said Peter George, President and Chief Executive Officer of Evolv Technology. "We're particularly pleased to have surpassed 1,100 Evolv Express systems deployed and $100 million in cumulative TCV bookings this quarter. Based on the strength of our first half results and our growing market momentum, we remain confident in our full year growth plans for 2022."

ShotSpotter price target raised to $50 from $36 at Baird 06:44 SSTI Baird analyst William Power raised the firm's price target on ShotSpotter to $50 from $36 and keeps an Outperform rating on the shares. The analyst said they reported a solid quarter with revenue slightly ahead of expectations driven by broad-based strength. He noted full-year revenue and EBITDA guidance were maintained as many of the new bookings are expected to contribute late in the year. Power said given momentum in the Respond business and a strong funding backdrop, he remain positive on the growth opportunity.

Matterport price target raised to $7 from $5 at Piper Sandler 06:57 MTTR Piper Sandler analyst Brent Bracelin raised the firm's price target on Matterport to $7 from $5 and keeps an Overweight rating on the shares as he raised estimates "slightly" following the company's Q2 report and FY22 guidance. Given that Matterport has outsized exposure to a challenging real estate backdrop, the rebound in subscription revenue in Q2 was "unexpected" and a "bright spot" given that the 7% sequential growth was the highest rate in the last four quarters, Bracelin tells investors.
