GBA Presents: RADIO SAVANT-!

So many stories about this band. How they never blew up in America is one of Rock's great mysteries.

Certainly these guys Manic, Queen and Bob Marley would be my three great misses. Concerts I would of loved to be at and should of been at.

THIS IS
RADIO SAVANT-!

Check this out. After I called the apparent bottom to the day on June 16 "The Immaculate Post" then I call this particular spurt again to the day- Wed a week before it happened... now after 13% of unmitigated joy.. Now...
Uhhhhh..... WHO CALLED THE PERFECT BOTTOM?!!!!

>>>>>NOT YOU

HERE'S THE PERFECT BOTTOM CALL ON JUNE 16TH

upload_2022-7-30_12-41-43.jpeg

Read the words in those two back to back posts.
Then read them again.
That was a macro call.

I don't rehash these things as I just don't feel the need to brag.

I only bring it up now, just to let the readers (correctly) know who the best is on the GBA campus. That's why Cramer keeps me on his speed-dial.

EDIT:
And I don't like the proposed new title btw.
Figure out a better one. I'm not posting in a thread with "murder" in the title.
It sounds stupid.

I'm wrong.

I am. I've been doing more DD, going back to 2010, 2011, 2015-2016, 2007-2008, the dot com bubble. Not a lot of good numbers before that, just charts. I wasn't looking at charts, I was looking at the companies that are still around today, their PE's, price/cashflow, price/sales, ev/ebitda, and for fun, a few analyst commentaries. You could start a whole thread on that. Friggin' comical.

I'm not too proud to say I was wrong. I need to adjust my 2023 target down.
But I can't set a target. I think 10,100 would be a worst case scenario, but it's impossible to call.
That level is with the "known unknowns". It's the "unknown unknowns" that are impossible to make allowance for. And right now, the odds of an unknown unknown seem to be pretty damn high. That however is an opinion, not a fact.

So... I think I was wrong. The bottom on tech is not in yet.
In a nutshell... my initial analysis for a broad call like that was too myopic.
It was my bad.

With that said, I see the naz futures are up 84 points.
Thats my myopic analysis being right. Predicting the algo's.
I think I'll just stick to that and bite my tongue on everything else going forward.
Predicting the whales' algos short term is easy.
But no one can call the bottom right now.

EDIT:
I was right about one thing though. Recessions are healthy for the markets, and they're required from time to time. Kinda like weeding your garden.

Ted- are you OK. I thought about you at the beach today. You have been a little quiet. May you feel better soon-!

The White House announced that President Joe Biden, after a brief period of COVID negativity, tested positive for the virus again on Saturday, indicating a rare instance of COVID rebound seen in those who took Pfizer (NYSE:PFE) COVID-19 pill, Paxlovid.

President Biden, who is fully vaccinated and had received two boosters, tested positive for COVID last week and started a course of antiviral. After testing negative for the virus from Tuesday to Friday, the President tested positive late Saturday morning, the White House said, adding that the case represents “rebound positivity.”

However, there was no reemergence of symptoms and “President continues to feel well,” Kevin O’Connor, President’s doctor, said, pointing out that there is no need to reinitiate the therapy at this time. Given the positive COVID test, Biden will restart the isolation procedure, O’Connor added.

  3. 3D Printing- The process of making a physical object from a three-dimensional digital model, typically by laying down many thin layers of a material in succession.
  4. Sheet Metal Fabrication-Sheet metal fabrication is the process of turning flat sheets of steel or aluminum into metal structures or products, by cutting, punching, folding, and assembling. Sheet metal can be cut, bent or stretched into nearly any shape, which is generally done by cutting and burning the metal.
