Boy Big Pete is dangerous out here. Hearing stories I cannot believe. His family has always had their house in Fire Island so he's old school regular on the barrier island, the Mayor, or so he likes to think. But the real problem is the trigger effect out here- which is to get really zooked.

- Most-shorted names have outperformed least-shorted names by about 30% since the May lows of the S&P 500 (SP500) (NYSEARCA:SPY), BTIG Chief Market Technician Jonathan Krinsky wrote in a note Monday.
- "Feels like that trend might be exhausting itself," Krinsky said.
