Looking to salvage his environmental agenda, President Biden is considering declaring a national climate emergency as soon as this week,according to theWashington Post. The decision could redirect funds for clean energy projects and restrict offshore drilling, or even curtail the movement of fossil fuels aboard ships, trains and pipelines. He may also use the Defense Production Act to ramp up output of renewable energy products and systems, though any executive action would face the reality of high gas prices, as well as a likely court challenge.

Ocean Power (OPTT) said it will receive ~$1.1M overthe next 18-24 months to develop and test a modular and scalable Mass-on-Spring Wave Energy Converter PowerBuoy for reliable powering of autonomous ocean monitoring systems.
The company's Mass-on-Spring Wave Energy Converter technology generates power from the relative motion caused by the ocean waves and is scalable to support a wide range of applications and missions.
Ocean Power (OPTT) last week reported a FQ4 GAAP loss of $0.09/share on revenues of less than $1M.

Joby recently completed an advanced noise test with NASA which confirms the low noise profile. NASA engineers measured the aircraft’s acoustic profile during take-off and landing and found it to be below 65 dBA. This is landmark news as that noise level is comparable to a normal conversation, at a distance of 330 feet (100 meters) from the flight path.

The talks highlighted the durability of the demand environment for Elastic despite an uncertain macro backdrop, continued conviction around the company's fiscal 2025 $2B revenue target, focus on driving the cloud business and an improving relationship with Amazon Web Services, Bora tells investors in a research note. The analyst views the $2B revenue target as "not aspirational" and says the company has multiple paths to achieve it. Pora views Elastic's risk/reward as "very attractive" at current share levels.

Ever the green optimist though...(she didn't get that position for no reason I guess), she was quick to add "but if fuel costs keep rising, these become more and more competitive."

-- We are down to about 2X the price. But that is irrelevant the airlines have to buy to get near their goals for Carbon & in Europe they will be forced to buy and eventually here as well. This is why so many millions of gallons of green air fuel have been sold already and pledged already for the next 4 years- it's happening.

Also Rolls Royce is testing a hydrogen plane.
