GBA Presents: RADIO SAVANT-!

"After May's CPI miss, and last Friday's miss on payrolls, we now expect a near-term upward bias to forecasts."

Someone explain this line to me.

and upward bias in the print? The core CPI?

or to earn forecasts?

Tell that to Uncle Pete! He's doing naked cartwheels in Dublin I kid you not. Wearing a kilt at a wedding.--

You now I isolated the name in market free fall and had to work through the usual Van says it's a bad idea and now when proven correct yet again... I dunno why do I share these picks?. I'm not sure what I'm getting out of it except a good amount of cash. (not from Baron) Myself.

The children wanted safer ideas they were shook up- I gave them safer ideas that still can out preform that's what I do. That takes a certain talent...

Thank God I have it six times over!!!

Ok Van a portfolio stock exploding for $14 is a bad thing. Yup.
You mean like GME going from $123 to $140? > $17 :wtf:
Imagine that

I'm not worried about GME being down. That news this week screwed the whales and they're scrambling to figure out their option positions.
BTFD!
$123

Difference is---- the children made 97% off the same move granny made 7%
You can only offer these trades up when you're 100% sure.
That takes a gift Stoney.
Will Pete close Boeing and take that $10 >>> what if it drops to $130 tomorrow?
The children locked in my gains.
A two bagger.
#1 for a reason. :sneaky:

PING) Considering adding even though it got a PT reduction today.

So I'm pretty sure what's going to happen next for big companies. Margin pressure leads to cutting back on software and other tech upgrades which is VERY BAD FOR STANDARD tech... but spending on Cyber Protection will continue unabated.

Palo Alto<-- It's a no brainer here. But expensive.

PING ? Less so.

The stock closed at $16.63 per share on June 14, 2022. NowMaybe $18 I have to check....

Here is what Baron Discovery Fund has to say about Ping Identity Holding Corp. (NYSE:PING) in its Q1 2022 investor letter:

"Ping Identity Corporation (NYSE:PING) offers identity and access management security software. Shares appreciated due to strong fourth quarter financial results and upbeat guidance for 2022. Annual recurring revenue growth accelerated for a third straight quarter driven by strong adoption of Ping’s SaaS software products and cross selling new customer identity-focused products to existing customers. Management guided to further acceleration next year driven by healthy demand for the SaaS platform and for newer products such as online fraud detection, identity security orchestration, and Ping’s federal government solutions. Longer term, we maintain conviction in Ping due to growing demand for identity-oriented cybersecurity, Ping’s continued market share gains from legacy on-premise tools, and management’s focus on expanding distribution through new channel partners. Ping also trades at a reasonable valuation relative to other leading cybersecurity peers."

No. That's a sector call based on energy, Putin, and the winter coming.
I wrote that in my post. Nothing to do with options Stoney.

AND A LONG TERM CALL

Nice try though.

That's exactly why I threw out the new VZ stock pick, HP, today. It's a solid, off the radar energy stock. But with that said, there's probably at least a half dozen that will work.

Energy is Putin's trump card, especially when it comes to Europe. Don't listen to this (all of the sudden out of the blue) cadre of experts that are pontificating oil going below $65. No way.

Throw a dart at any high beta energy stock Stoney (without some kind of negative underlying story, and a lot of short term debt), and buy it. Forget these stupid stocks like friggin Flywire. They'll rise and fall lockstep with the tech sector... but going into Q3-Q4 2022.... energy is the place to be.
If you want outsized gains that is.

Admit it Stoney.... VZ is #1.

Van the numbers don't lie I'm doing the best job anyone ever has here at ET.
Not to mention the threads viewing numbers are so overwhelming ET has to hide the truth. WE ARE THE TOP THREAD EVERY WEEK.. Duh! That's how you get 40,000 views.

I have given out the best portfolio and gotten the best returns. And of course I'm still down huge because I have a ton of money always in the market. Perhaps I come from a different place in that regard, but how can I respect folks that dip and run and just invest small $1000 sums on options that may or may not expire worthless.. I'd rather move millions which is what I do.

It's time we just realized I'm The Very best. Top OF eTh Pops and who cares-- ride me!
Don't crap on Boeing jump on Boeing!

it and stop the in fighting! We are brothers in pain.

Lets just be really happy I'm here...

Because I could just as easily keep all of these ideas to myself.
