I am very emotional today. I cried when Benny the dog got adopted I cried when I saw my son this morning. He always when he comes home from hooping he has his ear buds in and he always comes into the living room and gives us a good three minutes of whatever rap song he is listening to. I sit there and pretend to mix in mid air like a confused blind man but I love it so much and I wanted to tell him DON't ever stop that! Come in and sing the way you do Don't change. But I broke down.
My boy is leaving for school in a few weeks- college- and nobody will be walking through that door and singing Da Baby lyrics to me...

I was dead wrong... but my system was right.
I have it set up to flag me when TSLA is going to strongly diverge from the indexes.
I didn't pay enough attention, I saw that TSLA was down, and just assumed that it was going to diverge in that direction.
As you can see, the S&P is flat, but TSLA is up over 2%.
I don't get those divergence flags that often, but they are right 90% of the time. The system was right, I was just in a hurry and didn't look at my other indicators. Which I am going to go back later and check.
KRTX is up a little.
Uber's earn are a real test case for business school.
-> Economy slowing , people maxing out credit cards pain and suffering high prices for food and gas, everything is so terrible...... And apparently fear of Covid wins. Demand for private car rides seems to be there...
so then we flip the script and say well not enough drivers then for the demand because of high price of oil/gas and people quitting jobs left and right.... then we flip the script again and say wait- those same people maxing out their credit cards and living paycheck to paycheck they may want to pick some Uber driving on the side...
-> eventually the coin comes up head for Uber.

Van I noticed yesterday some odd action in ROKU.
Now I do not want to get dragged into this name. I feel lucky I got out the day before earn-
But is it Cathie over and over? Someone is buying the hell out of this name the last two days--
Roku call volume above normal and directionally bullish 10:25 ROKU Bullish option flow detected in Roku with 55,222 calls trading, 6x expected, and implied vol increasing over 4 points to 81.26%. 8/5 weekly 90 calls and 8/5 weekly 75 calls are the most active options, with total volume in those strikes near 20,200 contracts. The Put/Call Ratio is 0.42.
- I have developed a system which uses option direction a bit as an input-- you see here calls leading 6X expected... my work has shown when that number is 11X the trade is almost guaranteed a success. Very rarely doesn't work.
so 6X not quite there- but. The $90 calls now-?
M&A here perhaps is someone thinking of buying?

Ya know when you think about it, it's complete bs and she should be admonished for this. We still don't know what China is gonna do, and I doubt XI is one to go back on his word. But even at that, with tensions so high surrounding this whole thing, all it would take is one little glitch between our forces and China's, and we could literally be thrown into a world war.
What gives her the f'n right to do that? Play Russian roulette with the fragile stability of the entire Pacific Rim? The more I think about it, the more I believe she needs to be severely reprimanded.
Of course that won't happen, and odds are this will blow over... but what if.... what if... the worst did happen.
