Beyond Meat struggling to deliver on Yum! partnership, Bloomberg says 10:48 BYND, YUM More than a year into their partnership, Beyond Meat (BYND) has struggled to permanently add a faux-meat menu item in the U.S. restaurants of Yum! Brands' Pizza Hut, KFC and Taco Bell, Deena Shanker and Leslie Patton of Bloomberg report. Beyond has spent more than a year trying to perfect a vegan version of pepperoni, but was plagued by production setbacks while competitors like Hormel Foods and Maple Leaf Foods started offering their own vegan pepperonis at smaller chains, Shanker and Patton note. The pepperoni problem is one of several issues in Beyond's deal with Yum!, the journalists say, as KFC's chicken nugget rollout was delayed and then short on product while Taco Bell has yet to test Beyond's "carne asada" in a single restaurant after it was dissatisfied with samples. Shares of Beyond Meat are up 2% to $37.97 in morning trading.

just a hunch. I went to that college orientation in Charleston and you could pick up a few tech leads.. certainly Zoom way down and out and disliked. And they mentioned the kids were doing less on SNAP and thus the school was pushing less data to Snap and more to FB and Insta and Tic Tock.
