Sunrun, Shell among energy stocks to consider, Barron's says 10:17 OEG, ENLAY, RUN, PSX, SHEL, LBRT Energy has more room to rise and there's still time to buy into the stocks, particularly for investors willing to consider the term "energy" broadly, Avi Salzman writes in this week's edition of Barron's. Energy is due for a major investment cycle, and for now, some of the biggest beneficiaries should be companies in sectors facing severe capacity constraints, the author notes. Aemetis price target lowered to $27 from $35 at Credit Suisse 06:49 AMTX Credit Suisse analyst Manav Gupta lowered the firm's price target on Aemetis to $27 from $35 and keeps an Outperform rating on the shares. The analyst notes that the pace at which dairy RNG projects are coming online have lagged his expectations and the company's initial guidance. In the last one year, only one new dairy has actually come online. While in March, Aemetis was still targeting to bring a total of 10 dairies online by year-end, based on revised guidance only 8 would likely be online, Gupta argues.

--Rolls-Royce upgraded to Overweight from Equal Weight at Morgan Stanley 05:21 RYCEY Morgan Stanley analyst Andrew Humphrey upgraded Rolls-Royce to Overweight from Equal Weight with a price target of 118 GBp, down from 132 GBp. The analyst sees Rolls-Royce as the "clearest example of mispricing" in his coverage. The recent civil aerospace investor day suggests an earnings recovery is "much closer than the market has priced in," while the company's earnings and cash flow "are directly geared to the next leg of a global aviation recovery," Humphrey tells investors in a research note.

Morgan Stanley reiterated an Overweight rating on Coca-Cola Company (NYSE:KO) on its view the beverage giant is set up for above-consensus post-COVID topline/EPS recovery ahead through 2023.

Analyst Dara Mohsenian and team point to new detailed analysis showing that consensus revenue remains too low on KO not only in 2022, but also in 2023 and that KO's pricing power and away from home recovery post-COVID drives much better KO near-term visibility than with CPG peers.
 
BYD sees Seal mass production to commence in June with 15K units monthly capacity

  • BYD's (OTCPK:BYDDY) Seal model is soon going to commence mass production and delivery this month with expected monthly production capacity of 15K units.
  • The Changzhou city government in East China's Jiangsu province said on its official Weibo account as cited by CNEVPost indicated that new energy vehicle and core parts industry in Changzhou High-tech Zone is developing in the direction of high-end, clustering and scale, and BYD's auto project will also drive a large number of well-known parts manufacturers to Changzhou.
  • Changzhou is also the current home of Li Auto's sole production base.
  • BYD Seal sedan went on pre-sale in China in May 20 and is believed to be one of the strongest potential competitors to Tesla's Model 3.
  • As per company data, Seal's pre-sale orders reached 22,637 units within 7 hours of the pre-sale start; company expects steady-state monthly sales of Model 3 will exceed 30K units.
