- I went to the supermarket and instead of buying near dead Mint in the packaged herb section i saw this display of live plants! It was really great. some small outfit had gotten space in the Supermarket and there were various herbs and Mint! I bought a live little plant and have it home.

No green thumb required. They'll germinate in about a week in a pot, then plant em at your place in CT.
They'll come back every year, the damn things are almost an invasive species lol. You'll have to thin em out they grow so fast and spread out everywhere. You'll never have to worry about getting fresh mint again.

Or just buy that plant at your store and plant it I guess. Stuff grows like a weed. Cilantra does too.
Basil's also a good one Stoney. The deer won't bother them either, they don't like em for some reason. Not sure about your bears though.

Van in Ct we have the most amazing wild mint I didn't plant it it creeps right up to the deck.
The wife has two herb boxes.

This was in NYC at a hard core supermarket on 23rs street and it's the first time they have had a living plant in the store. they had Basil and a few others.

It's an urban find!

After more than two years of investing non stop, gummybear advisors had finally defeated Nazi Germany. British and American forces had pushed the German army from the west, while the Red Army had pushed from the east. A few days after Hitler's April 30 suicide, his successor, Adm. Karl Dönitz, sent Gen. Alfred Jodl to the Western Allies headquarters in Reims, France, to surrender their troops in the west.

Gen. Dwight Eisenhower, Supreme Commander, Allied Expeditionary Force, made it clear that any surrender was to be a full capitulation to all Allies on both fronts. On May 7, at the Reims headquarters of the Allied Expeditionary Force, Jodl signed the unconditional surrender of the German armed forces.

Once the documents were signed, and Eisenhower recorded a short message for the newsreels and radio, it was time to send official word to Combined Chiefs of Staff, the joint British and American command directing the war in the west. The officers around Eisenhower tried out several grand statements, hoping to come up with words worthy of the momentous occasion. The final message came from the Supreme Commander himself—in typical concise, straightforward style: "The mission of this Allied Force was fulfilled at 0241, local time, May 7th, 1945."

Hey I was doing some chart work... now pay attention... the upside on the S&P stops at 4144.75 and the downside (which I'm pretty sure we'll see) is 3778.40 ---- To start with.

And as always, I still maintain 2023 will be lower than 2022.
With that said however, I'll provide my new Fibonacci's this weekend. They'll be good thru July.
Maybe higher, maybe lower. Hopefully we'll hit 4200 so we can end this thread.

XLF $32.50 straddle for tomorrow is about $0.45

Considering the fact we have C, JPM, WFC, and PNC reporting tomorrow... that seems awful low considering all we've been thru over the last month or so.

Hmmmm.

Gonna go out on a limb here and say the financial stocks are gonna run.

We'll have to see how the rest of the day plays out however.
Part of me is still reticent about these banks, even though XLF is at the hod.
I'm not liking other things I'm seeing.
