DeSantis, who rebranded the district previously known as Reedy Creek to the "Central Florida Tourism Oversight District," hand-selected the five board members who will now oversee Disney's municipal services. Previous board members were selected by Reedy Creek, which was fully controlled by Disney.
"The good question now is what will be the impact of the new board that he appointed," Richard Foglesong, Disney historian and author of the book "Married to the Mouse: Walt Disney World and Orlando," told Yahoo Finance Live in an interview on Tuesday.
"We have a five-member board of supervisors that consists principally of cultural warrior types, Christian nationalist types. ...I think there is an issue here," he warned.

Up around 5% on huge volume. I have no idea who was selling this thing in the morning just under $3 seems irrational to me; I added more shares at $3.01. Barring broader market disruption, I expect this to run up to the 52 week high at a minimum ( $3.44 ) but $4-$4.50 seems likely eventually imo. I may take the new shares off if it hits $3.30 tomorrow morning.

Selling Today does a few things-- It wakes up the HF and it puts back to back winners in their heads... ok all eyes on me! and it gets the attention of my new suitor. I need to make this week the BEST week!

SPAC Mount Rainier Acquisition Corp. (RNER) had its merger yesterday with Israel-based HUB Cyber Security. Started trading under HUBC in the morning and promptly dropped from $10 to $1.50. today it continued its drop to a low of $1.10. went back up to $1.50 in the after hours. its PIPE funding fell through right before the merge but they didn't tell anyone and merged anyway. no one knows how many shares it has and all the brokerages have messed up in different ways with the merge. it used to be on the Israeli stock market where i *think* it was trading for $1.60. a real mess. needless to say i have been buying it.

Sasso has hair problems. honestly, it's hard for me to get worked up about disney but what he's doing with higher ed in florida is...i'm having trouble coming up with the word i want...when you're just being cruel in an indifferent way? i just asked chatgpt and it suggested callous but that's not quite the word i want
god chatgpt really is good. i told it to add "jaded" to the definition and to suggest a new word and it gave my cynical which is, apparently, the word i was blanking on.
Hi Jane.That MT. Rainier spac... it has been hitting volume scanners all week. I just assumed it was some silly spac that went meme stock. I didn't even look at it.
I bet there are plenty here that would agree with me on this one, but when I see the word "acquisition" tacked on to the end of the name of a stock... it's like whaaaatever.
That being said, it has shown up for the last several days as volume leader both pre and post market.
I dunno... be careful with it
