Fortress agrees to finance Kushner bid to acquire Veris Residential, WSJ says 15:16 VRE Fortress Investment Group will aid in financing Kushner Cos.' $4.3B bid to buy Veris Residential, Peter Grant of The Wall Street Journal reported, citing a letter from Fortress to the board of Veris. The letter, which was reviewed by WSJ, noted affiliates of Fortress "are prepared to finance the debt and equity needed to consummate" Jared Kushner's family real-estate company's $16 per share proposal, subject to due diligence.
