Quote from fxpeculator:

88.00 bid on STRA justed popped up in pre-market! Thats more than 3 pts higher than the close. Still looking for a super spike on STRA.

92 just crossed the tape on STRA. Up 9%

Looks like I got my "Super Spike" on STRA as the gap has held so far.

Took some profit today and have target of 105-109 within a couple weeks on a swing.

NTGR up 9% today before earnings. Either someone got a peek at the earnings or this is the 22%+ short float getting out the way.

Either way, deciding on taking profits with high implied vol on the calls before earnings vs. looking for a bigger run after the close is tricky.

Holding for now without shaving any of long NTGR position yet.

MSTR MicroStrategy beats by $0.22 *****

Reports Q2 (Jun) earnings of $1.12 per share, $0.22 better than the Reuters Estimates consensus of $0.90; revenues rose 31.1% year/year to $65.4 mln vs the $62.5 mln consensus.

MSTR up 12% AH.

16:15 NTGR NETGEAR beats by $0.01; issues guidance (21.88 +1.68)

Reports Q2 (Jun) earnings of $0.25 per share, excluding non-recurring items, $0.01 better than the Reuters Estimates consensus of $0.24; revenues rose 21.7% year/year to $107.6 mln vs the $109.1 mln consensus, with non-GAAP operating margin in the range of 12.0-12.5%. "We are optimistic, as we enter the seasonally stronger third quarter. Our confidence is based on NETGEAR's market-leading product line-up and anticipated back to school seasonal demand. We expect to benefit from sales momentum in both the US and in Europe along with continued gains in the Asia-Pacific region."

Shaved some 25% of NTGR position before close. Still holding along although dissapointed with the light earnings and guidance. Still holding NTGR long with conviction.

So, PHM, MSTR, and STRA all winners and NTGR, the verdict is still out as I coined on the 9% run up today.

75% is not that bad I would say, STRA up 18%, MSTR 12%, PHM 3%. Not a bad trading day at all! LMAO

Long OSTK into earnings tomorrow. Almost 50% of the float is short and the street is lined up against it creating an opportunity for a massive and catastrophic short squeeze tomorrow.

Fundamentals look good on the back of etailers amazon, ebay, and nflix bullish earnings.

OSTk prelim $-0.13 vs $-0.22 Reuters consensus; revs $150.6 mln vs $147.28 mln Reuters consensus

Looking over report. Up 3% pre-market os far. Things looking good so far. This is a 40% upside suprise.
