Consider trading the TF (Russell 2K e-mini) instead of the ES. It has more bang for the buck and trends better than the ES. You don't have to trade more than 2 at a time to make a very nice living.
The 6E (Euro Dollar futures) is a great scalping contract. It takes about an 8 pip initial risk for a 10-20 pip reward.
Best advice I could give is to go all-in / all-out on your scalps and add to winners when you're looking for 2+ pt TF trends. If you build a position, then you're always going to be holding your smallest number of contracts on each initial position. This will allow you to have smaller winning pcts and increase your odds of surviving.
Get used to losing. You'll do a lot of that. That's why it's best to come up with a plan which allows you to win in the long-term even if you only have 30-50% winners.
