Some friend of mine made an interesting point that you can think of bitcoin as a synthetic put on a basket of EM currencies. The more people are looking to move their cash out of their country, the more acceptance and value bitcoin is going to get.

When it comes to Futures trading leverage is everything , so whats the point of trading such a volatile contract if the margin requirements are very high ?

Why would i be excited ? I may as well trade oil instead with much lower margin requirements .

One should compare daily range to margin requirements .
