the bot had reopened a short a few minutes ago, I closed it out for a small gain.. this seems to be one of the few times I did something good by interfering.....

Me;+$47
Bot;+123

Seems like I make a good decision, but I'm sure when all is said and done I wont have.... It seems like at this point i'm basically relying on the bot to make the entries then i'm making the exits... kinda fun actually... makes me not overtrade, and take all the entries... but my exits are horrible most of the time.... Making money thus far though, thats all I can ask
 
I was pissed off my bot took that short again after I manually closed it..... now bot is down -$47, it recently did a stop and reverse.. and I dont think that was such a good Idea.. but I need to stop interfering with it.. had I not interfered the first few times It would had made more money and would be up and not down now...
 
Bot has lost $282 today, shutting it down... this is why I cant trade the bot, it can loose too much money too fast for my liking.. yea it will be net positive over the longer run but I cant take the drawdowns.......

I am currently up +$78 from my trading, but means absolutely nothing after loosing that much with the bot.... having a very crappy past few days, my will is starting to falter somewhat.... loosing motivation and getting highly frustrated
 
Once again could not prevent my afternoon blow up in my account.... why do I even try... especially after being rattled by the bot's horrible performance..... its to be expected, those results are in line wiht both back testing and forward testing.. I knew days like that would come.. perhaps I should stop using the bot until funded properly... although with me trading my own money I will probalbly blow out my account eventually..... Its becomming a viscious cycle... the more I loose the more depressed i'm becomming, and the more depressed I get the more I start to loose from impared judgement.....

I need to get back to the basics, just work on having WINNING days... even if its small wins, just start slowing trying to build up.....

That is why I keep telling you to go to simulation. If you are up in the morning you trade in sim the afternoon. Work on your skills. The only other thing I could suggest is that if you think the market is going to drop go long and if you think the market is going up short the crap out of it. This is in jest but you should consider simulation. You have several problems you need to fix.

1. under funded
2. DISCIPLINE
3. not sticking to a plan

Any and all should be fixed before you continue. I doubt you will listen to me on this but when you look at a 0 balance in your account maybe then you see.

Trust me I'm trying to listen and trying to change..... change is a hard thing to do, especially everytime I attempt to make a change I get bad results...... makes it that much harder to change.. but I am trying.. not going to give up......I'm still young enough where I can blow up my account and rebound later.....

I just need to figure this stuff out sooner rather than later... I can afford to loose the money.. but I am getting married in a little under a year.. so thats about all the time I have left to figure this game out.. If I cannot become profitable by then, I will have to stop the trading... at least intraday trading, will have to worry about supporting my family at that point and wont have the luxury of blowing my money in the market ;)

So, hopefully I do listen to the suggestions you and others have been making and get my act together soon...

Go into simulation and save your money.
