A July 2 statement on Cain’s Twitter account said Cain had tested positive for coronavirus on June 29 and was hospitalized. The same statement called Cain, “a fighter who has beaten Stage 4 cancer.”

Cain was diagnosed with late-stage colon cancer in 2006 and recovered from it.

What I don't like is how the left has politicized this from the jump. It's like the immigration issue, the more suffering the better. Keep counting the dead, it drives the shutdown mantra. Leftist policy is clear as evidenced by the thread. More dead good, dead Republicans, better.
 
It was first announced on twitter by "conservatives" that attempted to hide the fact how seriously ill he was from Covid-19. :D

The Liberals smelled out the cover-up that it was being presented by the right-wing as a "heart attack"...when some conservatives did not even mention he was positive for Covid-19 and hospitalized from illnesses related to Covid-19.

It's like saying someone died from a car accident without mentioning the person had just robbed a bank and shot by a security guard and then died in a car crash from a police chase. :D

I see a lot of lawsuits in the near future by people being denied health insurance, denied employment, insurance rates increased or drop because of being designated as having a pre-condition due to Covid-19 even though they never had any serious symptoms.

Completely agree which is why these Covidiots do not understand what can happen to millions of people that tested positive for Covid-19 but never had any serious symptom.

There could still be a consequence for testing positive from Covid-19 especially if research later discover it to be an underlying condition that can lead to more serious illnesses later in one's life.

Similar to smokers having higher insurance rates although currently they have no health problems.

Down. Thousands have died as a direct result of this; Hundreds of thousands as an indirect result

no one wants to see people die, but how can i feel bad for this guy? He made his choice. Personal responsibility.

Covid was about as non-political as the bombing of Pearl Harbor. Leadership ignoring the issue and then obfuscating facts to hide their incompetence made it political.

That's why your cases are surging in Canada right now. Watching Americans gives you something to do because there is not much going on in Canada, but you might take a little break to work on your pandemic a bit. I hear you have the UK covid variant now which y'all probably love. Plenty of Canadian dead bodies to go around. Might start focusing on them for a change.

But I'll tell you this. I don't know who this guy was and I had no wish for any harm to come to him. But in a worldwide pandemic, if there are going to be fatalities, then it is only just that these fatalities include the people who refused to acknowledge it in the first place. Because they brought in on themselves and they made it worse for others. This is my thinking in the abstract. However, I regret the unnecessary loss of life and the grief that it brings to his family.
