FREE ES Trading Strategy that works

PERSONALLY.. I lack the patience to trade "triple divergence' signals... for for those who can wait for these signals............THEY ARE GREAT TRADES!!

You want your 3/10/16 to be a SMA and not an EMA. Remember, that 3-10 histogram should be 3sma minus 10sma. The 16 line is a 16 period sma of the 3sma minus 10sma That's how I use it.

Yes, from listening to the LBR recording at INO posted earlier in this thread Linda uses the SMA for her MACD indicator.

One question. DonKee, why do you have +2.5 and -2.5 marked off with the dotted line on your MACD?

HI Donkee,

After reading your article, I was wondering how do you decide if it's a buy or sell entry?

It might be best for you to re-read the posts and review the chart examples.

Just to give myself a marker for how extended the 3 sma is beyond the 10 sma. I, also, have that blue dotted line change to yellow when the 3 sma gets x points away from the 10 sma. Both the blue dotted line and the yellow "threshold" number can be changed, are variables, as volatility changes.

You really don't need that, but it helps me to "see" how much momentum and volatility there is in the market at a glance.

The setup is actually pretty common after a stock (or indicie) has made a move and is consolidating in preparation for a major burst.

I see it all the time in the ES, but don't "trade it" per se. I used to use the MACD, but I no longer do, relying more on a price action style of trading with confirmation along multiple time-frames.

Anyway, good luck at the Open.

well, think i fixed it. had to roll my own.

top = standard Macd

bottom is my homegrown MacdSMA

thanks again for the help :)

(disregard that "sell" signal)

Just in case this could be useful, Linda Raschke has 3 webinars that you can download (choose the ZIP files) or view online (choose the HTML links):
http://www.cciclub.com/marketvu/

On her website, it is mentioned that she and her partners have done some webinars for CME earlier this year. I could download the pdfs but cant find the link to the webinar itself. If anyone has the link, please post it. Thanks!
