Yes. Although there is an appearance that people are sick of pretty boy Newsom. Newsom is saved here I think because there is no strong Democratic contender in the recall race which would allow voters to still be dems and lefties without having to go full-Larry just to get rid of Newsom.
The dems- including Newsom and all the "big names" they are importing to pump him up are making this a "don't let the Trump supporters win here" kind of race. And I acknowledge that that is probably a good drum to beat if you are in their camp, and will probably be a winner (although it is pretty telling and embarrassing to Newsom for things to have gotten this far.)
As I said, probably that anti-Trump sloganeering is a winner and I acknowledge that. Neverthelss, the former California Dem Majority Leader who came out in support of Larry is most likely not a Trump supporter so the dems know they have problems with some of their agendas bearing rotten fruit. Like Cuomo, Newsom also has/had his eyes on the White House in 2024 too. So just damaging him a bit- which is happening to Newsom has a certain tonic value. I said that about Cuomo too- except he ended out getting damaged more than a little. If that happened to Newsom, well, I will have to deal with it.
You never know. SEIU has been spending millions with numerous flyers, postcards, ads on TV. Seems to be signs of desperation when these same, extreme liberal idiots claim Gavin Newsom is winning the recall elections per their polls which put the Nos at 54% and Gavin Newsom safe. So, why are TV ads running one after the other in Commiefornia? Doesn't pass the smell test. September 14, 2021, we will find out soon enough.
