The Democrat apparatus in California... well the amount of cheating that can occur in a situation like this makes it difficult to believe that Larry Elder can pull this off.
Arnold was elected because the composite intelligence quotient of most of California is seriously low and they thought his movie persona was the real Arnold. Bzzzzt! Wrong.
But Larry is rightfully identified as an actual conservative and nothing and I mean nothing will stimulate systemic cheating like a black conservative running in California. Its all-hands-on-deck for the ballot harvesters, fake balloteers and corrupt activists to carry the day.
Larry could personally pick Diane Feinstein's replacement (if she ever turns up again)... There is no way on this blue planet that the apparatchiks are going to let that happen.

Yes. Although there is an appearance that people are sick of pretty boy Newsom. Newsom is saved here I think because there is no strong Democratic contender in the recall race which would allow voters to still be dems and lefties without having to go full-Larry just to get rid of Newsom.
The dems- including Newsom and all the "big names" they are importing to pump him up are making this a "don't let the Trump supporters win here" kind of race. And I acknowledge that that is probably a good drum to beat if you are in their camp, and will probably be a winner (although it is pretty telling and embarrassing to Newsom for things to have gotten this far.)
As I said, probably that anti-Trump sloganeering is a winner and I acknowledge that. Neverthelss, the former California Dem Majority Leader who came out in support of Larry is most likely not a Trump supporter so the dems know they have problems with some of their agendas bearing rotten fruit. Like Cuomo, Newsom also has/had his eyes on the White House in 2024 too. So just damaging him a bit- which is happening to Newsom has a certain tonic value. I said that about Cuomo too- except he ended out getting damaged more than a little. If that happened to Newsom, well, I will have to deal with it.

Recall voting is next week in Cali, I think.
Most likely quite a few of those Afgan refugees will be voting in that election too. Start em in early. It's California. Just print off your own ballot and the person who picks it up will even fill it out for you, or give you one already filled out.

I will be voting... but I don't expect Newsom be recalled. I have know polls I trust... but... sentiment wise...
If anything... I am not seeing as many recall newsom signs as I would think would be indicative of him being voted out.
