If the left can make reasonable gains in that white voting block, Trump or any other republican will lose, and that's the way it's going to work for the next 10-15 years. Then and only then will the minority vote be a pivot point. For Trump or any republican in the next 3 cycles to gain minority vote share would be significant in the outcome, for democrats it means nothing until the 2030's.

One, Biden has yet to be nominated and two, both white and black came out and voted for Biden over Comrade Sanders. The black vote alone does not propel anyone in a national election and will be meaningless in beating Trump. Doesn't matter who the dem nominee is, the majority of blacks will vote democratic. Biden, or any othet democratic needs the working class white vote to win. Hillary took that for granted and lost crucial states which should have been a lay up for her. Those votes are up for grabs this election. All it takes is someone with some semblance of sanity to get them.

Hillary only got 2 % fewer white votes than Obama.Black voter turnout dropped around 8% in 2016 compared to 2012 though
