That's an easy one. The rest of what you have to say didn't fit his purpose of wanting to create an ad hominem attack using your own words.

Would it not be better for us all focus on the issues rather than waste time in pointless personal attacks? Has anyone ever changed their mind on an issue after being attacked personally?
