Did you read what the poster wrote?Did you even read what you just posted, and place that into the context of the original posit? If Apple had all manufacturing in the US, why would they have to raise the MSRP more than $1,000 over it's current price? Or even to over $1,000? How does the poster know?

If Apple wants to keep the same profit margin, prices will raise substantially.
And how do you know he is not correct? Do you have inside information?
if the production cost would raise from $175 to $250 the selling prices would be over $1000 if Apple wants to keep the same profit margin.
If you think producing in the US would not make a substantial difference, why did they go to the Far East then? For philantropic reasons? Apple is just the opposite of philantropic.
