What I'm looking forward to seeing is how Trump will explain NOT taking hydroxychloroquine if he recovers, after encouraging everyone to take it as both a prophylactic and as a treatment. It should be interesting.
Exactly.
I've talked about this before in other threads
prior to him becoming Covid-19 positive. The reason why this issue has been bothering me is because we didn't have any verification he was taking HCQ alone or HCQ in combo with something else like Zinc.
Now that he's Covid-19 positive and his wife too...
There's going to be questions by reporters about why he was not given HCQ and why he wasn't given those other therapeutic drugs he's touted. Instead, his doctors decided to give him a
experimental antibody cocktail treatment Regeneron for Covid-19.
In fact, its a drug still in "trials" at REGN (stock price).
Maybe Trump has other problems and this particular drug will have less harsh reactions that will trigger a different crisis...such as a heart attack.
It will be interesting to
see how they spin this and if his wife was given a different treatment because she has her own personal doctor that determine her Covid-19 positive status requires a different treatment because she does not have the same underlying medical conditions as her husband (e.g. Overweight and other not disclosed health problems).
