Can you explain why if hydroxychloroquine is such a beneficial treatment for COVID why it was not used to treat Trump recently?

I am not privy to Trump’s various medical indications and contraindications, nor to his treatment regime.

As a side note, I wonder if one of the ways vitamin C, AKA Absorbic Acid, can be helpful in the reduction of infection risk may be related to its ability to make other antivirus minerals, such as zinc, more accessible for synthesis by the body.

This news comes from a peer-reviewed paper in the academic journal Science of the Total Environment, based on a study that was, allegedly, supported through funding provided by the US National Institutes of Health. Mark Hay from The Daily Beast sums it up perfectly:

Instead, the thinking goes, it could be an ancient virus hidden in our DNA that does not directly make people sick—until shifts in Earth's geomagnetic field create a cascade of effects that ultimately activate that latent genetic code and cause COVID-19.

The wildest part: Thanks to its own unique geomagnetic properties, the theory maintains, "nephrite-jade amulets, a calcium ferromagnesium silicate, may prevent COVID-19." In other words, you may be able to wear a physical piece of armor to ward off the deadly illness.

For the last time so we can close this thread, HCQ works with Zinc.(Zinc doing most of the work, HCQ is just the enabler) Don't believe me, see the data instead:

If you are a green monkey HCL is beneficial. If you are a human, not so much. Studies that include steroids and antibiotics on top of HCL are meaningless. We know steroids and antibiotics are seperately proven.

I was talking HCL for some mild to moderate osteoarthritis, have done so since before covid. I have since switched with moringa tea as it is far better and has remarkable antihistamine properties.

Its like this, zinc in the concentrations required to greatly interfere with covid cannot happen in the lungs. So what else does HCL do? Its a pretty powerful anti-inflammatory but there are many other choices. Throwing HCL into the mix for general use in Covid is a political, not medical thing.

There is some benefit, there is also risk to others. People who would have been OK anyway were a little less ill, people who were in high risk groups were at significant risk of a worse outcome.

So if its the iontophore property alone, there are other choices that don't have QT issues. These however don't get traction as Trump said HCL so it is very political.

Was mentioned in my post. A bottle of EGCG is like $5, Zinc is dirt cheap too. Nobody is going to advocate those because the profit margin is minimal. A Quercetin study with positive results is awaiting peer review. (of course foreign, because no American big pharma will waste time on supplements)

Sad part is that for like 50 ccents a day we could get a fairly good defense against the virus until we get the vaccine, which is still 3-4 months away for most people.

And we knew about this back in April, so my guess is that 150K Americans could have been saved, if not more. But nobody promoted supplements except a few YT doctors.

Also I have anecdotal evidence that doctors (health care workers) from the Philippines to China are using HCQ as prevention, they are just not promoting it due to supply issues.

As I said, the steroid and antibiotic have independent proof. You could have the same results of it were a weekly KitKat bar along with steroids and or andibiotics.

You can't get to the levels required to seriously affect covid, I'm sure the zinc helps a bit on strained lung muscle repair, I'm sure it boosts testosterone which helps a lot. But... No proof that HCL is in any way superior to I'm sure scores of other substances. Androgel could be a proper covid ass kicker.

As its being pushed only because Trump mentioned it, it just political bullshit keeping it going. There are people in this world who once they form an attachment to an idea, can't ever quit on it. Sometimes this is good, mountains get climbed and shit but most of the time it's just stupid. If there was a pill for calming down autistic type fixation, someone please do a study on it.
