The only two PUBLISHED numbers we know with certainty are (as of now)
1) Number of confirmed CV related deaths ==31,700
2) Number of confirmed CV cases == 678,720
The ratio 31,700/678,720= 0.0467 , could be interpreted as the conditional chances (prob) of your death from CV given that you were positively diagnosed with CV. This number has crept higher from 0.036 last week, which could be explained by the increased rate of discovery... but still very worrisome.

Soooo if this is soooo accurate, the million+++ count you and others have come up with, and with any other official from top governments and the cdc figuring these numbers as you did, then why isnt there a national lock down???? That's what I want to know. Because right now the number is still under 2300 in the US

I thought there was. Something about Trump wanting it lifted in mid April. But his medical adviser saying that was being a bit optimistic.

first of all how do you know the funeral home tales are not made up. Secondly funeral homes are built to the capacity to handle normal death rate. Of course they needed help when there was a spike. And there is no data here how much help was needed.

both sitting at about 150 deaths per million population. both are showing peaking in new cases, with death peak likely a few days lagging... say they end up with 500 death per million.
then extrapolate to the US... first of all there is no way we get to 500/m.... population density is far less than Italy/Spain..
but lets do devil's advocate and say we do get to 500... that's what, 150k dead, 200k tops.
we had 80k dead from the flu in 2018.... where was half the panic? or even 1% of the panic?
we are not saying corona is not serious... it is serious... but the panic is way out of proportion.

Are you seriously using data from countries where there is a very strict lock-down to extrapolate this to the US and use the result to defend there should not be a lock-down?

As I said before it is simple dozu: without measures the hospitals will be flooded and lots of people will die that would have survived if the curve would have been flattened. If you want to accept having a heart attack or car accident and not being treated at that time that is fine, but most people choose not to accept this. Flu didn't and will not put countries in the same position so comparing it with the flu is incorrect.

Now, the US has 123,781 confirmed cases, deaths 2,229, 1.80% yet, liberal media sensationalize it and blame President Donald Trump for not doing enough? Nothing more than extreme liberal talking points. NY Governor Andrew Cuomo talking about millions being infected and needing 40,000 ventilators when he was caught hoarding like 16,000 ventilators? Doctors and nurses complain about the lack of medical equipment, medical supplies and ventilators yet, Andrew Cuomo is just plain hoarding it? To create a crises and let people die?
