The fact that he disgraced the FBI when he headed it doesn't count, right? Hatfill was awarded almost 5 million dollars because Mueller falsely accused him of the anthrax crime even though they didn't have a shred of evidence. But he was trying to please the senators who were pressuring him to solve the case. And James Comey backed Mueller up on this case.
And now we know why there was bipartisan support for Mueller by democrats and Mccain and Graham and Ryan and Mcconnel. They kind of like the idea of having a stooge who'll do their bidding and not really care how it gets done. And that describes Mueller.

Mueller didn't get the wrong man in the uranium bribery case, did he?

Hatfill was not awarded 5 million because Mueller made an honest mistake.
He was awarded the money because the FBI ruined his life without a shred of evidence. And all to please his political masters who wanted the perp to be a right wing scientist and not an al-qeada terrorist.
Might as well get to the rest of the story. After a judge ruled on the egregious nature of the Hatfill prosecution and threw it out, Mueller next targeted a dead guy who couldn't fight back. Mueller placed the blame for the crime on Bruce Ivins, who was dead. Years later DOJ papers turned up casting severe doubt on the guilt of Bruce Ivins.
Mueller is a deep state stooge who'll do whatever is asked of him.
Mueller ran the largest law enforcement organization on the planet for 12 years, which involved tens of thousands of cases involving the worst criminals in the country and the best you got is a $5 million award?
Try harder.
Two agencies in government you never, ever want to have to deal with are the IRS and FBI. Both do not play games.

The FBI- his former agency- is now back looking at the uranium deal according the Attorney General. Why would they be doing that if Mueller did such a great job?
Just look at the birdbrain biased, conflicted team that Mueller has put together as Independent Counsel and the scandals coming out of that. That gives a little view into how good a manager and investigator he must have been as FBI Director. Same with comey, no one in their right mind now thinks he was anything other than a befuddled political hack, bumbling from one questionable action to another.
