Fiorina Hits the Ball out of the park on this one

...I think she was a competent Sec. of State, nothing more. The email and Benghazi stuff is pure politics, not substantive, and won't stick if Hillary counterattacks with facts and vigor....

GOOD-GOSH-O-MIGHTY.:eek::rolleyes::eek:

I believe I stated in an earlier post that I am no fan of Hillary. I'm indifferent towards her as a person. I've never met her. I think she was a competent Sec. of State, nothing more. The email and Benghazi stuff is pure politics, not substantive, and won't stick if Hillary counterattacks with facts and vigor. [I Think Kerry on the other hand has been a brilliant secretary of State, despite a few early gaffs. The reason the Swift boaters were able to damage him, despite his commendable service record, is because it's against his nature to dirty his hands. He has always wanted to stay above the fray, and that cost him the election. It's not against Hillary's nature, however, to mud wrestle.]

I would most definitely would not want Hillary to be President. My vote as an independent will not count/not matter in my State because I live in a heavily Republican State where winner takes all Electoral College votes. If I vote Republican, my vote will not matter, and if I vote Democrat my vote will not count, so why bother. I am effectively disenfranchised in presidential elections.

If my vote counted, and Hillary were to be running against Kasich, I would, of course, vote for Kasich. Hillary against Fiorina, Huckabee, Bush, Walker, Cruz, Santorum, Perry, Jindal, Carson, Christie or twinkle toes (Graham) I'd be forced to vote for Hillary. Hillary versus the others, I'm not sure. Would probably stay home.

Should Kasich run with Rubio as his V.P., Kasich will be the Next President, though it would be a very close election if Joe ran against a Kasich- Rubio ticket with Elizabeth Warren as his running mate, because then there would be 4 competent, and popular politicians with minimal heavy baggage (so far as we know now), running against each other.

I imagine, from a democrat's point of view, the Republican Dream team would be Christie, Jindal, Walker, Cruz or Perry running with one of the Jesus Freaks.

It's fun to speculate, but I imagine it will be Hillary against Kasich and whatever V.P. candidates they need to help win swing States. Both Hillary and Kasich are too savvy to allow a lunatic on the ticket. Kasich is the only GOP candidate that can draw large numbers of independent and democrat votes as well as mainstream republican votes. Many independents, myself included, don't want to see Hillary (or another Bush) in the White House.
IOW, the left hopes that the republicans nominate someone who closely resembles a democrat which will guarantee a victory for Hillary. Should the republicans be stupid enough to fall for that they deserve to have their ass handed to them.
Far as Fiorina goes, you and your leftist pals should be afraid of her. Terrified in fact. She is the one candidate that can expose Hillary for what she really is, take her apart piece by piece and not be subject to the, you're just being a sexist pig criticism.

Will you guys get over Trump? He is not going to win and anyone who thinks he will is completely delusional....

Brother Wild...help a brother out, if you will, please.
If I think that Trump has, at least, a decent chance to win, does that still make me "completely delusional", or is there still hope for folks like me.
I'm a bit worried about myself.;)

We have to get used to the idea that both the major parties are marxist. They really are. Republicans changed the tax system in the mid '90's and the result was 40+ million households that either didn't pay any taxes or got refunds. Can't tell me those households are concerned about taxes or the growth of government! Geo Bush Jr. gave free meds to seniors... Those are things you would expect Castro to do, not Republicans...

Fiorina took the credit for opening a new division of HP that sold computers at the time, I recall that. Computers were fast becoming commodities from China at the time, she had NO VISION, NO UNDERSTANDING of the market but somehow she saw herself as fit to lead... There are way too many people that greatly overestimate their abilities, she's one of those and voting for her would be just stupid...

Trump seems sociopathic... that comment he made on TV about how a supermodel would look on her knees is the kind of terms that psychopaths think in. I'd love to vote him in and watch him go after the rest of the world with the huge sense of entitlement that they have with regard to us. He would renegotiate the deal with Mexico so they could deal with their own criminals.. what a Cathlo-leftist shithole Mexico is, no gun rights, overrun with criminals and getting the morons on the left in the US to deal with their horrible criminals. Illegals represent >30% of the murderers in many US states. Trump is right, send that shit back where it came from. So Trump might be a sociopath but he's the man for the job nowadays in some regards. I doubt he's a strict constitutionalist though.

I am afraid of Fiorina, she would be a disastrous president.

I can be wrong of course, since my perspective is that of an independent. But I think Hillary's popularity among democrats, and women, is not nearly so great as many have assumed. [what do the professional pollsters say?] I firmly believe that Kasich, assuming he did not select an idiot as a running mate, someone like Rubio would run very strong, could beat Hillary rather handily. But then we have no idea of who her running mate might be.

You may be thinking that this trader crowd is representative of the electorate. And I would say in general they are, but also in general, they are more radical. What I've noticed is how few of the general population reads much of anything beyond the internet, you tube, Tweets, etc. Much of their information seems to come from Videos, or worse, TV pundits. All of this "information" they are being fed is naturally slanted one way or another because it is meant as entertainment, not real news or facts.. To get facts one has to read the original sources, or read several points of view from opposite perspectives.. It appears hardly anyone here, save a very few, does that. Thus we have a choir singing in an echo chamber.

If you are trying to have a discussion with someone who separates every topic as being either right or left politically, it's quite certain that they are not well read. They see everything as though it is black or white, with nothing in between, and of course there is nothing in between their ears either..
