Final tweet of terrorist shot in Capital

She broke the law and got shot.... end of story for many people when a Black person gets shot by a police officer.

Tell me the part of police training where they are told to mentally calculate the weight and sex of the person committing a felony and then use that info to determine if their life might be in danger and then figure out where to shoot to cause minimal threat.... she was breaking and entering a secured area and got shot. She was in the military...she knows the rules..

play stupid games on federal property with high level protectees inside...win stupid prizes
WOW
You will allow police to use lethal force against one who "broke the law"
Only justification for using lethal force is when police are in an imminent risk of death
There were no apparent weapons at this scene so I expect charges to be brought against the officer

Below is a new video showing Ashli getting shot. Note there were Capitol police behind her, shown almost immediately after she was shot. Ashli was 35 years old, mother of one, unarmed, and a 14 year US Air Force veteran who served four tours. In other words, she was a warrior against terrorists.
Not buying your jingoist bullshit. "I like people who weren't shot." She's dead because of events Trump and Hawley set in motion and energized.

Thank you for proving my point...

A black man running from a police officer is in no imminent risk of death and no weapons on the scene but is shot several times in the back and no charges brought against the officer.....

A woman is shot breaking into the Capitol where high level security and targets are located and suddenly police lethal force bothers people..... ok....

If she was such a concerned mother and patriot then she should have stayed on the Mall protesting...not break into the Capitol and be part of a group that was attacking the men in blue....

don't start shit...won't be shit

Admit it, the shooter panicked when seeing a 135 pound or whatever woman try to open a well barricaded door. There was no mention of a warning being given. For God sakes, the shooter was behind a barricaded door and only one unarmed person seemed active at that point in time.

How do you feel about this woman getting shot? Do you consider this to be a justifiable shooting? If so, should the same standard be applied to other protestors, including rioters throwing Molotov Cocktails, tearing down statues, occupying and vandalizing courthouses? How about when protesters cause an physical injury to another party? Mass looting anyone?

I’m fine with equal under the law, if it is applied equally by law enforcement, the courts, and in media portrayals. Then again, at some point, when does Government action to protect itself exceed its Constitutional authority as envisioned by our Forefathers? In other words, at what point are people merely exercising their right to form a new Government based on the continued failings of the present Government? Think spontaneous mass recall of politicians the people have lost confidence in.

The words of Abraham Lincoln to honour the soldiers that sacrificed their lives in order “that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth”.

Kind of an ironic quote when considering Ashli Babbitt, isn’t it?

For decades our Government has become a self serving club where politicians most often become millionaires off taxpayers, while not being representative to the people, instead catering to special interests, such as corporate and even foreign lobbyists. Democrat and Republican voters both feel this way. How about you?

Seems to me, it is high time for our politicians remember who they are working for. Transparency is not a some of the time thing. Transparency is not when it is a convenient thing. Transparency is an all the time thing, especially considering elections. The media and most of our politicians have failed mightily in this regard, judging by recent actions.

We are better off reframing our outlook from anybody but Trump or anybody but a Democrat to a more constructive view, such as holding our Government accountable for their non-representation for all of us, instead of blaming each other. For example, look at our ever dwindling rights and privacy, as well as increasing tax burden, even if this tax burden is hidden through fees, fines, and inflation. Government did not get to its present size by accident, by the way. It took a complicit media, corporations, and corrupt politicians. These corrupt entities did not disappear when Trump came on the scene, right? Yes, corrupt entities are still here and are trying to eliminate their last roadblock, Trump, from reforming our system. Ok, Trump has plenty of his own issues, but his key shining attribute is he cares, or at least seems to care about the well being of the United States and its people. That attribute alone make him more qualified to lead us than any other politician, or media talking head for that matter. Seriously try to think about the last few points.

Our Government needs to become more representative.

One way or another.

Is this the door of the house chamber? And what story do the bullet holes tell you?
