But they are poor to me, and I think it's safe to say they are poor relative to the (once existent) middle-class of this country. I assume this by their clothing, and their location. I suppose they could be hiding their wealth. ; )

Are you kidding me? No, I'm not buying it. This is bullshit. OK, the girl in the BK video was wearing a bikini, a bikini!!!!! How do you conclude she is poor. She is in Panama City on spring break in a bikini and you conclude by her clothing she is poor?
The woman on the subway, we never see her clothing! No way you can conclude anything. And the riot at Alabama State, they were wearing stylish new clothes from what I could tell.

I only watched the first video, on the train. But I don't think there is much value in pushing this, we are pretty good at judging a person's socioeconomic class. Not perfect, Bill Gates does put on jeans and might be found at a Wal-Mart sometime I suppose, but in general, clothes, location, vocabulary, behavior, and we can figure out pretty well a person's status in society.
And their location? Dude, I went to Panama City on Spring break. I rode the subway when I lived in NY as do most wall streeters. And I hardly call a university a setting for the poor.
Dude, that is so racist! How can you say that? Are you serious? Just admit it, you assumed they were poor because they were black, not because of their location or their clothes. Their clothes and location put them right smack dab in the middle class. Not in the poverty category.
Ricter man, I know somewhere inside you there is an intelligent person. I lived in NY for 2 years. Everyone, and I mean everyone rode the subway. The subway is not the setting for the poor. And neither is a university campus or Panama City, FL on spring break. There is absolutely no evidence in any of those videos that these people were poor. None!

That's not true, there is more than once race involved in that scuffle. Everyone on that train looks poor to me, I don't think I saw anyone in a coat and tie, but of course you watch the people in the foreground more than the background. Are there wealthier appearing people in the video? I'm on my laptop, tethered through my phone, and don't want to use the bandwidth again.
