Female Reporters are being turned away from the House of Representatives for wearing sleeveless tops

Actually these rules have been in place for decades are supported by Democrats and Republicans.

As a note, it a male reporter showed up in a sleeveless shirt they would also be turned away.

Nonsense

"The same report alleges that this new and apparently very strict policy was coined by Speaker Ryan. The only written rule is that women should wear “appropriate attire,” and what constitutes “appropriate attire” for women is reportedly up to Ryan’s discretion."

There is absolutely NOTHING on sleeveless tops in the dress code, it's upto the Speaker's discretion, he made them 'illegal', don't blame the generic code.

Good luck with your assertions... as noted even the NYT retracted it.

Nobody denied that there was a dress code, the assertion was about the specificity. Michelle Obama wore a sleeveless top to the House when Pelosi was speaker, when was she turned away.

Go read the article I posted from some context.

You and others stated there was no dress code - at noted in the New York Time there has been a written dress code for decades.

The question regarding the enforcement of the dress code is a different manner. However the enforcement on reporters has been going on for a long time including requiring male reporters to where jackets and ties.
